About Wreathmic Creations |

What started as an escape at the end of a long day and a way to relax and unwind after chasing around children and doing household chores has become my true passion. I guess you can say I am obsessed with making floral wreaths. I did try my hand at flower arranging, but I find the most joy when I am making a wreath as a gift for family, friends, or school fundraising events. I taught myself all I know by doing, but I also read books on floral arranging and wreath making to learn the proper way to do it. I am also taking a floral design course. Wreath making has become a rewarding hobby, especially when everyone welcomes my handmade creations with compliments.
I display my wreaths in the front window of my husband’s construction company's office, which is located in our small town of Pompton Lakes, New Jersey. Pompton Lakes is a northern suburb of New Jersey and only 25 miles from Manhattan. It is a friendly, closed-knit community with excellent schools and sports programs. Sometimes I sell my wreaths at craft fairs and holiday boutiques. This past year my husband, Jim, hired his friend Tom Woods of Woods Creative Services to design this website as a gift for my birthday. I am very excited that I can now bring my wreaths right to your door. When designing my wreaths, I am inspired by memories of summer vacations spent with my family in one of my favorite placesCape May, New Jersey, where I am fascinated by the brightly colored Victorian homes with their fragrant gardens. Cape May is famous for its rich history and its beautiful Victorian bed & breakfasts and, of course, the sunny beaches and the many dolphins that swim by. It is also a famous spot for bird watching where one can observe migrating shore birds, numerous songbirds, and in the fall it is a great spot for hawk watching. Cape May is also filled with one’s choice of great restaurants. Each wreath is created with quality silks, berries and ribbons, and is treated with a weather resistant spray. Most wreaths may be displayed outdoors under cover where they are protected from the sun and rain, though constant sun exposure will cause fading with time and rain and humidity may cause berries and fruits to deteriorate. I hope you enjoy browsing through my website and the many creations that will compliment your décor.
